Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) is a certification given by the National Association of Board of Pharmacy (NABP) to wholesale distributors. The program was designed to provide a means by which state and federal regulatory agencies and the public may readily identify wholesale distributors that are appropriately licensed, have complied with federal and state laws and regulations governing the wholesale distribution of drugs and devices and that have agreed to adhere to the VAWD Criteria and the requirements of the VAWD program.
